Why does Dumb Phone briefly appear before opening an app?

Some apps must bounce through Dumb Phone before opening due to an iOS limitation.


Ensure you have set Reduce Motion to ON in Accessibility settings for Home Screen & App Library, and it will make launching apps appear seamless again as you would normally expect.
